Minority Universities Supply Chain Management Education Consortium   Minimize

The Minority Universities Supply Chain Management Education Consortium is a not-for-profit association of eight Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and one Hispanic Serving Institution (HSI).

We are committed to working together to further the development of minorities for careers in the field of Supply Chain Management (SCM). Over the past couple of decades, the importance of SCM has manifested itself strategically in organizations.

Available statistics indicate a dearth of minority representation in this fast growing field. Since HBCUs, HSIs, and other minority-oriented colleges and universities have proven to be effective in developing talents in various fields such as law, accounting, engineering and medicine, the consortium believes that it can provide an avenue for developing qualified minority talents capable of providing leadership in supply chain organizations. The Institute for Supply Management has provided its encouragement and continued support for this undertaking.
